You will collaborate closely with a team of three engineers, focusing on standard work creation for new engine assembly and disassembly, providing necessary tooling for mechanics, and conducting simple design work.Responsibilities • Assemble and disassemble engines for testing purposes. • Conduct validation and certification tests on engines. • Develop standard work procedures for new engine assembly and disassembly. • Design and provide specific tooling required by mechanics for engine disassembly. • Collaborate with a team of engineers to fulfill various requests and ensure smooth operations. Essential Skills • Experience in manufacturing engineering. • Proficiency in tool design. • Strong mechanical engineering skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working with engines. Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves working in engine test cells, requiring hands-on assembly and disassembly of engines. Engineers will need to work collaboratively, employing mechanical and tooling design skills to meet the demands of the role.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mossville, IL.
