About this role
We're looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll collaborate with product teams to enhance our cloud platform, which powers consumer-facing applications. You'll contribute to architectural improvements, build secure and scalable features, and support development teams with hands-on coding and prototyping.
You'll also work with the Global Security Office to help identify and address platform-level security concerns, but the focus will be on enabling secure product development rather than deep security operations.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building secure and scalable cloud-native applications, and can work across teams to deliver great outcomes.
What we're looking for:
Solid experience with AWS Cloud Architecture and basic security best practicesFamiliarity with Microservices Architecture and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)Hands-on experience with DevOps and automation tools – Terraform, Git, Jenkins, SonarQubeStrong coding skills in Python and/or Node.js, with experience contributing to production-grade applicationsComfortable working with engineering teams to embed security-by-design principles into product featuresA collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor and support cross-functional teamsYou will report to a Senior ManagerBonus skills – nice-to-have but not essential:
Exposure to PKI or access management conceptsExperience with security audits (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001)Familiarity with security standards or policies used by engineering teamsProfessional certifications (e.g., AWS, CISSP, CISM)Experience working in large-scale or multi-regional environments You should have 2- 4 yrs of total experienceAWS Cloud ArchitecturePython Our uniqueness is that we truly celebrate yours.
