About this role
As a Frontend Engineer Xcelerator in the ECS team, you'll collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines. You'll also work with Business and UX to deliver new functionalities in the membership experience for our D2C website.
You will report to the Engineering Director.
Responsibilities:
You will industry-leading web frameworks and technologies in a micro-frontend solution.Prototype, develop, test, and integrate the best responsive web components.Peer review code with other engineers to ensure software engineering best practices.You will integrate with RESTful web services in the AWS cloud from multi-tiered web applications.Improve existing code with engineering best practices.Coordinate with different teams to collaborate and work on implementation of new features.You will participate in the full SDLC/Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions. You must not have graduated more than one year ago.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.At least a B2-level English proficiency.No more than 1 year of experience with web application development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS.Personal websites or self-published npm packages is beneficial.Familiar with a major frontend framework such as Angular, React and TypeScript.Comfortable working in a team environment following the Agile methodology and using Git.Interest in learn different technology stacks.Work as a part of a team to deliver well-designed, reusable, and high-quality code.Understanding of unit testing using Jest or similar frameworks. This is a home-based permanent role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
