About this role

Age Up to 55 years Qualification Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC recognized university or reputable international university in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Microelectronics / Semiconductor Technology)/Computer Science / ICT/ Engineering Management/Management Sciences/Business Administration, Education/Education Policy/Economics/Public Administration or a closely related discipline. Candidates possessing 18 years of education (MS / MPhil) or PhD in Microelectronics/Semiconductor Technology/Electrical / Electronic Engineering/ICT/Engineering Management/Education or a closely related discipline will be considered an advantage. Professional certifications in Curriculum Development, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Quality Assurance in Technical Education, or Project Management will be considered an advantage. Experience: Minimum 12 years of post-qualification professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role, in curriculum development, academic quality assurance, technical education policy, or monitoring and evaluation of training, workforce Skills development, or technology capacity building programs. Candidates possessing 18 years of education (MS / MPhil) or PhD in relevant disciplines may be considered with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, provided they demonstrate substantial experience in managing similar initiatives. Experience in designing or leading curriculum development or reform for engineering, ICT, semiconductor, electronics, or advanced technology training programs will be considered an advantage. Experience in working with national or international accreditation bodies and quality assurance frameworks for technical or engineering education will be considered an advantage. Experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for large scale training, skills development, or technology capacity building programs will be considered an advantage. Experience in collaborating with universities, industry partners, regulatory bodies, and government institutions to strengthen technical education and workforce development initiatives will be considered an advantage. Key Skills: Strategic planning and development of technical training curricula aligned with Semiconductor industry workforce requirements. Strong knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, performance indicators, and program performance tracking. Expertise in curriculum benchmarking, quality assurance, and accreditation processes for technical or engineering education. Familiarity with digital learning platforms, EdTech solutions, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with government institutions, academia, and industry partners. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, review, and implementation of training curricula aligned with industry workforce requirements and international best practices. Develop and update curriculum standards through benchmarking with leading global programs in engineering, semiconductor, ICT, or advanced technology education. Ensure integration of blended learning approaches, digital learning platforms, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) in training delivery. Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for the project, including KPIs, baseline assessments, and impact evaluations. Conduct periodic skills gap analyses, employer consultations, and curriculum reviews to ensure alignment with evolving industry needs. Ensure training programs align with relevant national accreditation and international quality assurance standards. Oversee collection, analysis, and reporting of program performance data to support evidence based decision making. Prepare and present periodic reports on curriculum development and monitoring outcomes to PSEB, MoITT, Planning Commission, and other relevant stakeholders. Facilitate faculty devel
