Department: Marketing & Business Development Position: Manager, Digital & PR Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer, PSEB Location: Islamabad Maximum Age: 45 years Role Summary: The Manager, Digital & PR is responsible for leading PSEB's digital presence and public relations function. On the digital side, this encompasses PSEB's website, social media channels, content strategy, and online reputation management. On the PR side, it involves managing relationships with journalists and media outlets, coordinating press activity, and ensuring PSEB's initiatives receive timely and appropriate coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms. The Manager directly oversees the PR, social media & Analytics, and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education with a degree in Mass Communication / Communications / Journalism / Public Relations / Marketing / Media Studies / Advertising / Digital Media / Information Technology / Computer Sciences / Business Administration / Management Sciences / Social Sciences /Applied Sciences or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized national or international university or institution. Higher qualifications or professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Content Strategy, Social Media Management, or related areas shall be an added advantage. Experience: • Minimum 4 years of post-qualification relevant experience in digital communications, public relations, media relations, or a combination thereof, with progressively increasing responsibility. • Demonstrated experience managing social media channels, digital content calendars, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent platforms). • Strong and established contacts across Pakistan’s media and digital landscape, including print, broadcast, digital publications, influencer networks, and content creator communities. • Experience in managing communications and media activity around events, brand or platform launches, program activations, government initiatives, or trade delegations. • Candidates from the private sector, corporate communications, digital media, or entertainment industry are equally encouraged to apply. • Experience in crisis communications and reputation management will be considered an added advantage. • Experience with country marketing and international PR will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the overall digital and PR strategy for PSEB, aligned with the organization's mandate and communications objectives. • Oversee PSEB's media relations function and secure accurate, timely, and impactful coverage across relevant national and international publications and platforms. • Own and manage PSEB’s website and digital channels, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines. • Plan and coordinate communications activity around events, program launches, policy announcements, brand activations, and trade delegations. • Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and digital analytics on a regular basis, and produce actionable insights and reports for senior management. • Lead crisis communications planning and execution as and when required. • Build and maintain relationships with media partners, journalists, influencers, and digital content creators. • Plan and manage media buying across digital channels, including social media platforms, programmatic display, search, and video, ensuring optimal reach, frequency, and return on investment aligned with campaign objectives. • Manage, guide, and develop direct reports through regular feedback, objective-setting, and performance reviews.
