About this role
• Lead the collaboration between different stakeholders from public or private sector. Provide overall leadership and direction for the Smart Islamabad Initiative (SII). • Establish and operationalize the Project Management Unit (PMU). • Lead preparation of RFPs, procurement planning, and vendor selection processes. Drive stakeholder engagement with various Government stakeholders and local/International donor agencies to ensure integration of datasets and services. • Supervise infrastructure readiness and coordination for the Command & Control Center setup. • Manage project budgeting, expenditure, and compliance with public sector financial rules. • Ensure alignment of project deliverables with the approved PC-I and MoITT/NITB objectives. • Oversee PIU staff recruitment, development, and performance management. • Prepare and submit periodic reports to MoITT, NITB, and the Project Steering Committee. • Identify project risks and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented Master’s or Bachelor’s degree minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Data Science, ICT, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Management or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized or reputable international university. Professional Certifications (Advantageous): • Cloud Architect certification (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) OR • Project Management (PMP/Prince2)
