About this role
The Business Analyst bridges business needs and digital solutions, analysing processes, requirements, and data to enable evidence-based decision-making across national digital initiatives. The role supports PDA leadership in strategy, project execution, and policy development, ensuring digital programmes deliver measurable impact. Key Responsibilities Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across ministries, regulators, and partner organizations. Translate requirements into functional specifications, workflows, and data models for digital platforms, including DPI and national portals. Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and business process re-engineering to improve efficiency and service delivery. Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable insights for leadership. Support project prioritization, planning, and portfolio alignment with the National Digital Masterplan. Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Chairman, CSO, COO, and other senior stakeholders. Ensure compliance with governance, security, and data privacy standards in all business analysis activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. 5–10 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in government, public sector, or digital transformation projects. Experience with process mapping, requirements analysis, and reporting tools. Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
