The Principal Mobile Developer will lead our mobile development initiatives. This role involves guiding the development of cutting-edge mobile applications and solutions, mentoring junior and senior mobile developers, and ensuring that our mobile offerings are both technically robust and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both Android and iOS platforms, as well as a strong background in mobile architecture and emerging mobile technologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of advanced mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. Oversee the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Mentor and lead a team of mobile developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Maintain and enforce code quality through best practices, including code reviews and automated testing. Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technology trends, best practices, and emerging mobile technologies. Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Collaborate with the UI/UX team to create compelling device-specific user interfaces and experiences. Oversee the integration of mobile applications with back-end services and external APIs. Address and prioritize critical fixes and updates. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience At least 5 years of experience in mobile development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Android Market. Proficient in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java. Deep understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and scalable mobile development practices. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Strong knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle. Skills & Competencies Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter). Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment for mobile platforms.
