About this role
The DevOps Expert would lead and enhance our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in advancing our DevOps maturity, integrating DevSecOps practices, and ensuring the seamless collaboration between development, operations, and security teams to accelerate software delivery while maintaining high standards of security and quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead the adoption and improvement of DevOps practices across the organization, optimizing the SDLC for efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and refine DevSecOps strategies, integrating security into the software development and deployment processes. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Oversee the automation of build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring consistent and reliable software releases. Drive the cultural change towards a DevOps mindset, promoting collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement monitoring solutions for early detection and resolution of issues in the development and production environments. Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps capabilities. Lead initiatives to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance. Provide training and mentorship to teams in DevOps and DevSecOps best practices. Document DevOps processes, create guidelines, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience Extensive experience in DevOps, software development, and IT operations. Proven track record in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms. Expertise in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices. Skills & Competencies Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Certifications in DevOps, cloud technologies, or related fields. Experience with Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of the SDLC. Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment.
