About this role

Qualifications Minimum 16 years of education in ICT / Business Administration / Marketing / Mass Communication / International Relations / Project Management / Social Sciences / Humanities / Public Policy / Management Sciences or other equivalent relevant fields from a national or international university/institute recognized by HEC. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in managing projects/skills development initiatives/other relevant assignments, with demonstrated expertise in project management/project monitoring/documentation/presentations/ stakeholder coordination. Preference may be given to candidates with relevant public sector experience in autonomous or semi-government organizations. Skills and Competencies Strong project management, coordination, and organizational skills. Proven ability in project monitoring, reporting, and maintaining dashboards in Excel Good research and analytical skills to track workforce and job market trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities. Proficiency in preparing reports, briefs, and official correspondence. Experience in stakeholder coordination with government, academia, and private sector partners. Ability to adapt, solve problems, and deliver results in dynamic environments. (Preferred) Familiarity with public sector or donor-funded projects and international workforce mobility. Key Responsibilities Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of international IT workforce development projects under PSEB’s mandate. Assist in preparing project proposals, PC-1/RFP inputs, and progress reports, and contribute to related documentation where applicable. Maintain project trackers, Gantt charts, and Excel-based dashboards to monitor progress and ensure timely delivery. Conduct research on global IT job trends, identifying in-demand skills and emerging job roles in key markets. Contribute to mapping workforce requirements to help align Pakistani IT professionals’ training and certification with employer needs. Prepare and present reports and briefs on workforce mobility, salary benchmarks, and international demand for skills. Liaise with universities, training institutes, and certification bodies to strengthen alignment with international requirements. Support the development of placement strategies in collaboration with recruitment agencies, labor market analysts, and staffing firms. Facilitate coordination on Government-to-Government (G2G) frameworks and labor migration initiatives with relevant stakeholders. Coordinate with embassies, business councils, and chambers of commerce to promote Pakistan’s IT talent abroad. Organize and support international virtual job fairs, recruitment events, and networking sessions to expand placement opportunities. Prepare high-quality briefs, talking points, presentations, and official correspondence to support senior leadership.
