About this role

Qualifications Minimum 16 years of education in ICT / Business Administration / Marketing / Mass Communication / International Relations / Project Management / Social Sciences / Humanities / Public Policy / Management Sciences or other equivalent relevant fields from a national or international university/institute recognized by HEC. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in managing projects / skills development initiatives / other relevant assignments, with demonstrated expertise in project management/project monitoring / documentation / presentations / stakeholder coordination. Preference may be given to candidates with relevant public sector experience in autonomous or semi-government organizations. Skills and Competencies Strong project management, coordination, and organizational skills. Proven ability in project monitoring, reporting, and maintaining dashboards in Excel Good research and analytical skills to track workforce and job market trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities. Proficiency in preparing reports, briefs, and official correspondence. Experience in stakeholder coordination with government, academia, and private sector partners. Ability to adapt, solve problems, and deliver results in dynamic environments. (Preferred) Familiarity with public sector or donor-funded projects and international workforce mobility. Key Responsibilities Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of national IT skills development initiatives under PSEB’s mandate, ensuring alignment with Pakistan’s digital and economic growth objectives. Assist in preparing project proposals, PC-1/RFP inputs, progress reports, and related documentation for national-level programs and partnerships. Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and Gantt charts to monitor implementation timelines, budget utilization, and deliverables across skills projects. Conduct research on Pakistan’s IT workforce trends, including supply-demand gaps, regional disparities, and emerging skills requirements. Contribute to mapping national workforce requirements, helping align training, certification, and curricula with employer and industry needs. Prepare and present reports and briefs on domestic workforce readiness, skills benchmarks, and local demand for emerging technologies. Liaise with universities, training institutes, accreditation bodies, and provincial stakeholders to strengthen industry–academia linkages and ensure national alignment. Support development of placement strategies for trained graduates, working with local recruitment agencies, job portals, and provincial employment offices. Coordinate with provincial governments, NAVTTC, HEC, and industry associations (e.g., PASHA, chambers of commerce) to expand access to IT training and certification programs. Organize and support national-level job fairs, career expos, hackathons, and networking sessions to connect IT graduates with employers. Prepare high-quality briefs, talking points, presentations, and official correspondence to support senior leadership in national forums and stakeholder engagements.
