Qualifications Minimum 16 years of education in ICT, Business Administration, Educational Leadership and Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, International Relations, Project Management, HR, Public Policy, Management Sciences, Finance, engineering or equivalent in related fields from a national or international university/institute recognized by HEC. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in curriculum development, academic program design, IT education policy, accreditation frameworks, and faculty development initiatives. Demonstrated ability to coordinate between academia, industry, and government stakeholders to ensure curriculum updates are aligned with industry needs and global IT standards. Experience in revising and updating IT curricula based on technological advancements and trending fields. Expertise in implementing national and international accreditation standards in academic programs. Proven experience in conducting skills-gap assessments and labor market research to shape relevant curriculum policies and training programs. Experience working with universities, technical training institutes, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective curriculum adoption and execution. Familiarity with modern instructional methodologies including competency-based learning, experiential learning, digital education, and micro-credentialing. Strong project management skills, with experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder education reform initiatives and faculty training programs. Experience in designing digital learning frameworks and integrating e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS) etc into curricula. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, evaluation, and implementation of standardized IT curricula that align with industry trends, accreditation requirements, and global best practices. Ensure academic programs at universities and training institutes incorporate globally relevant technologies and skills to enhance graduate employability. Develop curriculum benchmarking reports comparing Pakistan’s IT education standards with those of leading global institutions. Work with accreditation bodies to implement competency-based learning frameworks in IT programs. Establish strong coordination between universities, HEC, accreditation bodies, and the IT industry to ensure curriculum alignment with workforce needs. Engage with university deans, faculty, and industry leaders to facilitate the integration of hands-on learning, internships, and industry projects into IT programs. Assist in the development of industry-academia collaboration models, including mentorship programs, university incubators, and industry-driven capstone projects. Support the integration of online and blended learning methodologies into IT curricula by working with EdTech providers and e-learning platforms. Assist in the development of micro-credential programs, digital badges, and modular IT training tracks that align with global IT certification frameworks. Work on the adoption of LMS and AI-driven learning analytics to improve curriculum delivery and assessment methodologies. Support the development of national skills policy recommendations for IT education and contribute to government reports on digital skilling initiatives.
