About this role
Qualifications Minimum 16 years of education in ICT, Business Administration, Educational Leadership and Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, International Relations, Project Management, HR, Public Policy, Management Sciences, Finance, engineering or equivalent in related fields from a national or international university/institute recognized by HEC. Experience A minimum of 8 years in IT education, workforce training, and national skills development coordination. This includes coordinating training programs and working with stakeholders. Experience in bridging academia-industry gaps, national skill assessments, and IT talent pipeline development. This involves working with both academia and industry to ensure training programs meet industry needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and surveys on IT job market demand and required skills. This includes gathering data on the skills needed by employers and identifying gaps in the current workforce. Coordinate with universities, IT companies, and policymakers to enhance employability. This involves working with various stakeholders to develop training programs that improve job prospects for IT professionals. Develop digital upskilling initiatives and technology-based learning platforms. This includes creating online training programs and resources to help IT professionals improve their skills.
