Min. Experience Required: ----------------------------- - Minimum 10 years of overall post qualification experience including 07 years of telecom or ICT related experience. - Good understanding of ICT sectors preferred. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: ----------------------------------------- - Responsible for driving the strategic agenda of the organization, which includes designing & implementing the project and process strategies, enabling the organization to adopt future technologies & industry best practices while working in tandem with other sections/departments of USF Co. - To coordinate high-level official events, including research, program development, program evolution, logistics, protocol and inter-organization liaison. - Actively performing programs evolution through research work and following latest trends in ICT not limiting to the domains of wireless, OFC, special projects, satellite communications, and cybersecurity etc. - Engage different stakeholders, i.e., Government officials, Industry Leaders, and different vendors to impart company’s vision across different factions of society - Aligning Strategy with the purpose of Bridging the Digital Divide & Empowering Communities. - Impact Assessment of USF Programs & Projects and its continuous improvement. - Undertake Regional and International studies to develop best practices. - Act as the key POC for strategic collaborations & partnerships and their alignment with USF goals. - Establish frameworks for collecting & analyzing data to formulate strategy adjustments. - Stay updated on Telecom Policies and Regulatory changes ensuring USF strategy alignment with National & International guidelines. - This is a leadership role reporting directly to CEO/CXO and should be able to work independently - Liaison with international ICT and telecom organizations such as ITU, APT, SATRC, GSMA, A4AI and notable OEM vendors etc. - Aligning the training requirements of USF Co.’s workforce and personnel with the best available local and foreign training opportunities including technology road shows and seminars etc. - Oversee special projects of strategic importance to the organization - Prepare an annual and director’s report in liaison with other departments within the organization - Conduct meetings with cross functional teams at USF Co. and outside the organization - Furnishing information for completion of tasks assigned by CEO USF Co. - Making presentations and working papers for completion of tasks assigned by CEO USF Co. - Conducting meetings with market leaders in Telecom and regulatory bodies as mentioned above to look for initiatives that would serve the rural population of Pakistan - Preparing summarized dashboard for instant availability of information related to organizational & strategic statistics. - Preparation of publications, reports, articles or any other such material when required. - Any ad hoc duty as assigned by the line Management.
