About this role

Reports to: Manager Events & Delegations / Manager, Research & Publications, PSEB Work Location: Islamabad Maximum Age: 40 years Qualification & Experience: Minimum of 16 years of education with a degree in marketing, international business, international relations, social sciences, communications, business analytics, or business administration from an HEC-recognized local or international university. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience preferably in technology or telecom market research, content development, social media management, and business analytics. Experience in technology research and/or consulting organizations or international technology firms would be a plus. Proven ability to independently lead research projects from inception to completion handling social media. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate in designing, developing, and publishing comprehensive research studies and reports, encompassing quantitative and qualitative analysis of Pakistan's IT & ITeS sector and its sub-sectors. Coordinate with research and consulting firms as needed to execute research studies and enhance outreach of publications in international markets and forums. Oversee the data collection process and provide recommendations for project evaluation. Develop research schedules to monitor team activities. Review and analyze gathered research data using various tools. Present reports to senior management and ensure data security and task completion among team members. Contribute to the creation of whitepapers, surveys, and reports on Pakistan’s IT & ITeS sector, including case studies and success stories. Generate detailed trade and business intelligence reports, offering insights on existing, emerging, and potential markets. Provide recommendations on market entry and expansion strategies. Innovate and streamline research and analysis techniques to improve efficiency. Deliver research findings to senior management and collaborate with relevant public and private entities domestically and internationally. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as directed. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content. Moderate all user-generated content Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information To be self-driven, creative and have the ability to think outside the box.
