About this role

Min. Experience Required: ---------------------------- - Candidates with a Master’s Degree are required to have Eight (08) years of experience in the relevant field including 3 - 5 years of experience in Telecom Networks/Commercial Operations/Planning/Telecom Products/Strategy/Policy & Regulatory/Technology Consultancy & Advocacy. - Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree are required to have Ten (10) years of experience in the relevant field including 5 - 8 years of experience in Telecom Networks/Commercial Operations/Planning/Telecom Products/Strategy/Policy & Regulatory/Technology Consultancy & Advocacy. - Candidate with rich experience in ICT Regulatory and Policy will be preferred. Description of Responsibilities: ---------------------------------- - To assist in development of policies related to wireless telecommunications, including but not limited to spectrum management, network deployment, infrastructure sharing, and regulatory compliance. - To assist in matters and issues related to internal & external stakeholders, regulators, relevant government agencies, cellular mobile operators, telecom service providers. - Conduct research and analysis to assess the potential impact of proposed policies, business strategy, and regulatory compliance. - Evaluate policy options, risks, and opportunities, and recommend courses of action to management. - Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry trends, and technological advancements to inform policy decisions - Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, consumer advocacy groups, and community organizations. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input, build consensus, and advocate for policy positions that serve the interests of the Ministry and its stakeholders. - To maintain a working relationship and to collect related updates from relevant sections - To analyze the assigned cases/files/reciepts followed by noting on E-Office - To regularlary furnish the reporting officer with updates and reports - To actively coordinate and prepare meeting notices, folders and minutes. Qualification: --------------- - Master’s degree in information & communication technology (ICT)/ Telecom/ Computer Science from HEC Recognized local or foreign university. OR - Bachelor’s (4 years) in Information & Communication Technology (ICT)/ Telecom/ Computer Science from HEC Recognized local or foreign university. Location of Job: ------------------ - Islamabad
