Min. Experience Required: ------------------------------ - Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and evaluation of Mobile Broadband Networks. - Hands on experience of RF Planning of 2G/3G/4G Mobile Networks using RF planning tools. - Development of technical specifications for 3G, 4G Mobile Broadband Networks. - Planning of backhaul (Microwave and Optical Fiber) for Mobile Broadband Networks - Planning of Renewable Energy Solutions for Telecom Infrastructure Projects will be considered an added advantage. - Technical Report Writing. Description & Responsibilities: ------------------------------------ - Planning and Launch of Projects under NG-BSD Program, including 2G/3G/4G LTE Mobile Broadband for un/underserved Population, Tourist areas and Road segments. - Development of Technical & Performance Specification of Telecom (Majorly Mobile Broadband) and ICT projects. - Planning and Design of Renewable and Alternate Energy Solutions for Telecom and ICT Projects. - Analysis and Evaluation of Technical Bids for 2G/3G/4G/LTE networks, backhaul (Microwave and Optical Fiber) and Renewable energy solutions. - Technical Report Writing and presentation of project plan. - Change management of USF Projects - Prepare and finalize Project targets (Schedule C) for Launch of NG-BSD Projects. - Prepare Yearly Project Plan and Launch schedule. - Preparation of RFA/SSA documents for Launch of NG-BSD Projects budgeted for the year. - Analysis and Evaluation of Technical Bids for assigned Major & Small Lots of NG-BSD projects. - Prepare Query sets for seeking clarification on bids received. - Compilation of Technical Evaluation report within assigned timelines. - Drafting of Working Papers & Power Point presentations for POC/BOD meetings for NG-BSD Project - Verification of Unserved Mauzas in coordination with GIS Team. - Formulate Query responses to bidder Queries before the bid submission as per advertised schedule. - Prepare Notings for Major/Small Lots, amendments, corrigendum, approvals, and critical Project changes. - Project creation, Data Entry, and modification for planned NG-BSD projects in the ERP and Reporting software. Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas: ---------------------------------------- - Strong knowledge of GSM, UMTS and LTE. - RF Planning Principles, Propagation models, Link Budget, Traffic Theory. - RF Optimization Principles. - RF planning tool e.g., Atoll or Asset etc. - MW and OFC Network Planning. - Excellent Interpersonal skills - Exceptional communication skills and highly collaborative - Team Player with ability to work under intense deadlines Qualification: --------------- - Bachelors degree in Electrical / Telecom/ Computer/ Computer System Engineering recognized by PEC, from a HEC recognized Institution.
