Manager Events & Delegations @ Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB)

Reports to: Director Business Development & Partnerships, PSEB Work Location: Islamabad (national & international travel, as and when required) Maximum Age: 45 years About the Role: The incumbent to work closely with the Director of Business Development & Partnerships. Manages and builds a strong international presence, interactions, and engagements for Pakistan’s IT & IT-enabled Services sector in relevant trade events, exhibitions, and conferences. Organizes inbound and outbound trade delegations and roadshows. Coordinates B2B/B2G/G2G meetings in existing and emerging international markets. Assists in the development and implementation of global marketing and branding strategy to project Pakistan as a preferred Tech Destination. Assists in building new business channels engaging potential international buyers of technology products and services and attracting investors to Pakistan’s IT and ITeS sectors. Qualification & Experience:  Minimum 16 years of education from HEC-recognized local or international Universities, with a degree in business administration, international business/relations, or communications.  Minimum 5 years of demonstratable experience in marketing, business development organizing trade events and exhibitions, and B2B meetings are required. Relevant international experience and demonstratable expertise in developing B2B, G2B, and G2G international relations will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities:  The incumbent will assist in formulating global marketing, branding, and business development strategies, and carry out the marketing and business development efforts for Pakistan’s IT & IT-enabled Services (ITeS) sector internationally.  Manage marketing initiatives to attract international clients, partners, and potential investors for the IT & ITeS sector, organize inbound and outbound trade delegations, exhibitions, events, and roadshows, and assist in implementing country branding and perception building for Pakistan and its IT & ITeS sector internationally as an attractive Tech destination. Demonstration of similar experiences internationally will be advantageous. The desirable candidate will possess an understanding of the business of technology, and the technology industry’s products and services.
