Required Qualifications: -------------------------- - MS Telecom Engineering Description of Responsibilities: ---------------------------------- - Oversee policy matters and liaison with different government entities ( e.g. MoIT, PTA, Senate, National Assembly, PTA), industry stakeholders etc. - To take measures in improving efficiency of the technical coordination section. - Provide policy directive for renewal of licenses. - Oversee all technical & policy matters related to National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC), Special Communication Organization (SCO) & the Planning Commission. - Oversee matters related to USF & Ignite R&D funds. - Responsible for policy matters of frequency spectrum management, disaster management, optic fiber backhauls connectivity, submarine cables etc. - Provide inputs to policy directive for test & development of future 5G technologies. Minimum Experience Required: ---------------------------------- - Minimum 10 years of overall post qualification Telecom experience working in Autonomous bodies and Government institutions on project management related activities like planning, implementation, monitoring and controlling. - Good understanding of 2G, 3G / 4G (LTE) and OFC networks.
