Qualification/Experience: ---------------------------- - As per Management Position Scales Policy 2020 (Amended) of Establishment Division dated 24th May, 2021, the candidates should have Ph.D in Business Administration/Public Administration/Management/Human Resources from HEC recognized local or foreign university with ten (10) years of professional experience OR Master in Business Administration/Public Administration/Management/Human Resources from HEC recognized local or foreign university with fourteen (14) years of professional experience. - The candidate has experience in the relevant field inclusive of 05 years’ service at senior management level. - The experience gained in a similar role in ICT sector will be of added advantage. - The candidate should have experience of managing multiple tasks. Job Description/Deliverable Tasks and Timeline: ---------------------------------------------------- - Reporting to the ED, NITB, the DG (Administration) will carry out, but will not be limited to, the following tasks for the NITB: - Establish and manage Administration directorate. Drive HR, Finance including Audit, legislative and Administration initiatives related to quality, methodology, expertise, tools and future optimization. (Routine activity during the contract period) - Deliver high quality and sustainable administrative, human resources and finance support to enable both the strategic objectives and smooth running of all NITB operations. (Routine activity during the contract period) - Exercise lean team building and leadership skills to maximize team efficiency. (Routine activity during the contract period) - Proactively identify areas for ICT interventions and e-Government readiness in the areas of finance, admin and HR and formulate solutions for their BPR and Accelerated Digitization. (Upto 06 months from contract signing) - Share information and knowledge and enabling cooperative working across the organization. (Routine activity during the contract period) - Conduct Training Needs Assessment for the Federal Government and design corresponding Capacity Building Programs. (Routine activity during the contract period) - Develop, recommend and implement HR & Admin policies and procedures that meet the needs of NITB. (Routine activity during the contract period) - Will be responsible to define the appropriate balance between internal and external resources of NITB, develop and improve the organization Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for better coordination and administration including Human Resource Management.(Upto 24 months from Contract signing) - Recruitment of the employees as per recruitment policy of the Federal Government(as and when required) Tenure of Contract: --------------------- - Appointment of the DG (Administration) shall initially be made on contract for three years which will be extendable for a further two years (year to year basis) on the recommendation of Performance Evaluation Committee in accordance with prescribed performance evaluation of MP Scale positions. Termination of Contract: --------------------------- - On completion of tenure or by giving one month's notice on either side or payment of one month's basic pay in lieu thereof. - In case of proceedings under Para-6(vii & ix) of the policy ibid, the condition of one month notice shall not be required.
