About this role
Qualification & Experience: ------------------------------ - Minimum 16 years of education with degree in engineering, computer sciences or management disciplines from HEC recognized University. - Minimum 3 years of experience of working in skills development and capacity building programs and projects, geared towards ICT sector is required. Must possess strong communication skills, proposal writing and drafting skills. - Proficiency in using office productivity applications and tools is required. Key Responsibilities: ---------------------- - Assist in planning, development, and execution of skills development and capacity building programs and projects for Pakistan’s IT & ITeS sector, including technology trainings/certifications, management trainings, soft skills development, on the job trainings and internships, company level international certifications and compliance to international standards and regulations, Made in Pakistan & localization initiatives etc. - Assist in building a strong Industry-Academia linkage to develop globally competitive tech talent. - Assist in coordination with PSEB registered IT & ITeS companies, call centers, freelancers. - Assist in coordination with relevant public and private entities, and industry associations. - Assists in creating and carrying out surveys, collecting and compiling data at industry/company/individual level to enable informed planning and decision making on policies, programs and projects for development of IT & ITeS sector. - Any other responsibilities assigned from time to time.
