An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Dietitian to join Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as our Team Lead Paediatric and Neonatal Dietitian.
This is a rewarding leadership role providing clinical, professional and operational leadership for the Paediatric and Neonatal Dietetic Service. You will lead the delivery and continued development of a high-quality, evidence-based service for infants, children and young people across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including specialist services for neonates, home enteral feeding, metabolic conditions, renal disease and gastroenterology.
The successful candidate will be an expert practitioner with advanced clinical skills and experience in managing children with highly complex nutritional needs. You will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, influencing service development, supporting quality improvement initiatives and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop leadership skills while working within a supportive, forward-thinking Dietetic Department and wider Children's Services team.

Main duties of the job
To deliver and lead highly specialist paediatric dietetic services for children and young people with complex nutritional needs, providing expert clinical management, strategic service development and multidisciplinary leadership. The postholder will support integrated, evidence based and family centered care aligned with national neonatal, paediatric, NHS and allied health professional priorities, including quality improvement such as reducing inequalities.
