Job summary
A10 ward is a 36 bedded ward specialising in gastroenterology and hepatology. There is a diverse patient group which includes Crohn's/Colitis disease, alcohol detoxing, and chronic Liver Disease and GI bleeding. Feeding complications and cancers, working with different feeding routes and eating disorder patients.
The ward is very challenging but also exciting to work on, with so many opportunities to develop your clinical skills caring for acutely unwell patients. Our team is hard working, positive and friendly. We work together as a team and we pride ourselves on going that "extra mile" for our patients. All of us on A10 support and guide each other through every shift to ensure we achieve the highest quality of care at every opportunity.

Main duties of the job
A10 Ward is very keen to actively develop and support their staff, we have good support networks with the Practice Development Team to encourage and motivate students and new starters.
We recognise that our reputation is built upon the skills and experience of our dedicated team so we are looking to recruit staff with excellent clinical skills, effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with our patients and their families.
Our staff do a remarkable job every day and we will provide you with the training and support needed to join the team. We will actively encourage your professional development and career progression and we have our own competencies you can complete to ensure you feel experienced in treating our specialised patients. Our partner University is Anglia Ruskin University and we have Trust based competencies and training days for all our staff.
