What We're Looking For

We're seeking an Experienced Datacenter Technician (Level IV) who can lead by example, mentor junior team members, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Skills & Experience

Strong experience in data center operationsProven ability to prioritize tasks, manage escalations, and lead a team during critical situationsHands-on experience with data center buildouts, equipment assembly, and installationKnowledge of connectivity technologies, especially fiber optics, structured cabling, and cross-connectsExperience using Fluke testers or similar tools for cable and fiber testingSolid understanding of IT systems, hardware troubleshooting, and network basicsFamiliarity with Change, Incident, and Escalation Management processesExcellent time management, organizational, and communication skillsKnowledge of critical infrastructure (power and cooling systems) is a plus, but not mandatory Responsibilities

Hands-on Customer Support

Handle customer installations and troubleshooting, including fiber cross-connects and testingProvide customer support, including but not limited to logistics coordination and security coveragePerform advanced diagnostics and repairs on hardware and network equipmentManage internal and external tickets (including Smart Hands requests) in line with SLAs Leadership & Operational Excellence

Lead escalations for incidents, coordinating resolution efforts across teamsMentor and train peers, promoting best practices and ensuring operational disciplineDeliver clear shift handovers and comprehensive operational status reportsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and operational excellenceDevelop documentation and operational processes to standardize best practices Additional Responsibilities

Monitor infrastructure alarms (power, cooling, temperature, humidity) to maintain stable operationsOversee contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational standardsOccasional travel to other data centers for project support or escalations Qualifications

Experience in data center operationsExpertise in hardware troubleshooting and hands-on data center workAbility to occasionally work in an on-call rotation.Background in IT or TelecommunicationsStrong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skillsFluent in English (Swedish is a plus) Ready to take the next step?
