About this role
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting corporate governance matters across holding and operational entities, including corporate changes, board/shareholder resolutions, tax matters, and ongoing corporate compliance; - Managing relationships with external law firms across multiple jurisdictions, including engagement coordination, supervision of legal support, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of required legal outcomes; - Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including assessment of third-party services for compliance with local regulatory and operational requirements across 20+ jurisdictions;
Expected Results: - Create the register of all existing corporate documents; - Introduce standards for all type of corporate documents; - Create a register for all the contractual documents; - Validate all the existing contracts versus the new standards; - Introduce standards for all type of contracts (headquarters and local); - Launch the process to make sure the local contracts comply with the established standards.
Requirements: - 7+ years of legal experience; - At least 2+ years of recent experience as an in-house Senior Lawyer in an international company; - Experience supporting corporate legal matters across Cyprus, EU, and various emerging market jurisdictions; - Experience in selecting and managing local external counsel across multiple jurisdictions (Romania, Czech Republic, Spain, Mexico, and India preferred); - Fluent Ukrainian and English (both written and spoken) ; - Location - Cyprus
