About this role

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly coordination with M&P to manage all camp-related details across the trial districts.

• Support the planning and implementation of project activities in accordance with approved work plans and project objectives.

• Ensure timely delivery of project outputs and assist in resolving implementation challenges.

• Maintain regular communication with departments, partners, and relevant stakeholders.

• Facilitate coordination meetings, workshops, and consultations as required by the project teams.

• Support engagement with provincial and national program teams to ensure alignment of project activities with program priorities.

• Assist in monitoring project progress against planned indicators and targets.

• Collect, review, and compile data from field teams to support program monitoring with scientific partners.

• Contribute to the preparation of regular progress reports, technical reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain proper documentation of project activities, including reports, meeting minutes, and implementation records.

• Support preparation of case studies, learning briefs, and technical documentation.

• Ensure proper archiving of project data and supporting documents.

• Assist in organizing training, workshops, and meetings including logistical arrangements.

• Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for project activities where required.

• Support procurement and administrative processes in compliance with organizational policies.

• Ensure project activities comply with donor requirements, organizational policies, and relevant guidelines.

• Support quality assurance of project data and reporting outputs.

• Ensure adherence to Mercy Corps and donor guidelines.

• Support the implementation of project monitoring tools to assess and enhance program quality and effectiveness.

• Based in Islamabad, with potential travel to project sites across Pakistan.

• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Accountability

Reports Directly To: Senior Project Coordinator

Works Directly With: Senior Project Manager, Project International Collaborator, Project Scientific Partner, Health Economist, ACF Team, Finance Department and field teams

Knowledge and Experience

• Master's degree in project management, Public Health, Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related areas.

• 5 years of relevant work experience in project implementation with international organizations and/or projects, in a closely related field

• Experience working with government departments, NGOs, or international organizations is preferred.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Must have strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Must be a team player, be able to work proactively. Must be adaptable and flexible. Should be able to work under stress. Time management is critical to the success of this program.
