About this role
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient service? We're looking for a dedicated Office Secretary to support our fast-paced medical offices with outstanding clerical and administrative expertise.
What You'll Do:
• Greet and assist patients and clients both in person and over the phone
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance information accurately
• Maintain patient demographics and update records in the system
• Address patient questions or refer them to appropriate personnel when needed
• Keep patients informed about scheduling delays or changes
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all healthcare regulations
• Keep the medical office neat and well-organized, and assist with tasks like scanning, sorting mail, and preparing forms
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting and computer use preferred
• Skills:
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment
• Proficiency in maintaining confidential patient information
• Basic office equipment and computer literacy
