Demand Planning is the demand growth engine for Grab. Work is inter-disciplinary – a combination of advanced analytics, customer segmentation, marketing strategy and positioning. The team will be focused on growing demand sustainability, with projects covering overall strategy, brainstorming, experimentation and driving implementation of main projects.
Get to Know the Role
You will be joining as Associate, Demand Planning - Transport & Express to join our team Bangkok, Thailand. You will play a crucial part in optimizing our transport operations through accurate demand forecasting and strategic planning. Develop demand forecasting models for our transport services. You will report to Head, Demand Planning - Mobility, Mart, Express, and work onsite in Bangkok office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will analyze short to medium term issues impacting demand growth in the business. This includes customer segmentation, conversion funnel optimization, churn analysis, market scans and experimentationYou will collaborate with internal and external members to align demand plans with business strategiesYou will create regular reports and presentations on demand forecasts and measurementsYou will participate in SOP meetings to provide insights on demand trends and potential risksYou will design efficient promo structures and other projects to achieve demand growth in the Payments business and work with main partner teams to implement.You will manage budget allocation and track cost from plans in collaboration with Finance What Essential Skills You Will Need
A minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in financial services, management consulting or technology firmsConfident in processing and analyzing complex data sets using Excel (Essential)/Tableau (Preferred)Working knowledge of SQL is preferred but not essentialQuantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, and translating these to actionable business insightsAbility to see big picture while not losing sight of detailsA start-up attitude – willing to work hard to get things done Life at Grab
