About this role
This position is responsible for working within a shop department that performs mechanical maintenance and project activities. Shop activities may focus on rotating equipment (pumps, blowers, agitators, etc.) and/or fixed equipment, including piping, tanks and pressure vessels. Welding tasks will typically be associated with carbon steel and alloy materials and may include piping, rotating equipment baseplates/soleplates, and/or structural components. Each job must be completed with safety, accuracy and timeliness in accordance with customer specifications and expectations.
