Be an ambassador of Mercure Hotels and Accor, ensuring that every stay is smooth, personalized, and memorable. As Rooms Division Manager, you will lead and coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, and Spa operations, driving service excellence, guest satisfaction, and team engagement from the pre-opening stage through the hotel’s successful launch and daily operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an operations-driven professional who thrives on teamwork, precision, and creating experiences that make guests feel truly welcome.

You will be responsible for:

Leading Daily Operations

Supervise and coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, and Spa teams, ensuring brand-standard service and operational efficiency

Oversee guest journey from arrival to departure, ensuring smooth communication across departments

Conduct regular room and public area inspections, maintaining hygiene and quality standards

Monitor occupancy, room status, and readiness, ensuring seamless collaboration with the Revenue and Maintenance teams

Building and Developing Your Team

Lead and coach supervisors (Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa) and their teams

Ensure consistent communication through daily briefings and shift handovers

Deliver hands-on training and feedback to foster guest-oriented culture and teamwork

Promote cross-training and flexibility among departments

Driving Service & Guest Experience

Create a warm, personalized, and professional atmosphere that reflects the Mercure spirit

Manage guest feedback and implement service recovery procedures

Drive guest satisfaction scores across rooms, cleanliness, and spa experiences

Implement brand standards and ensure audit readiness

Pre-Opening Responsibilities

Participate in the pre-opening phase, defining operational standards, checklists, and procedures

Assist in recruiting and onboarding the Rooms Division team

Support setup of PMS, housekeeping, and spa systems

Conduct mock operations and ensure readiness for the opening

Your experience and skills include:

Minimum 3 years of hotel operations experience, with proven leadership in Rooms Division or Front Office at management or supervisory level.

Proven ability to lead by example, manage teams, and ensure operational consistency

Strong guest service orientation, attention to detail, and commitment to quality

Financial awareness and understanding of cost control, productivity, and budgeting

Familiarity with Opera Cloud PMS and Accor brand standards preferred

Fluent in English and Romanian (additional languages are an advantage)
