Join our dynamic team as a Guest Service Agent at Sofitel Brisbane Central, located in the heart of Brisbane City. We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to create exceptional experiences for our guests. As an ambassador of our Front Office Reception team, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive at the hotel through to their departure, ensuring they have a memorable experience with us. You will be the face of the hotel, the key point of contact for guests and a Heartist who delivers cousu main moments and an exceptional level of luxury experience.

You’ll excel in this role if you are energetic, self-motivated, have attention to detail, and are passionate about creating exceptional service experiences. A key to success in this position is the ability to deliver incredible guest service and understanding of how to ensure the safety and security of the property.

Welcome and check-in guests, ensuring a smooth and personalised arrival experienceHandle guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficientlyProcess check-outs and manage billing accuratelyProvide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and servicesInteract with different departments on a daily basis to ensure that our guests have a seamless experienceAssist with concierge duties, providing guests with personalised recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organised front desk areaEnsure compliance with hotel policies and safety proceduresParticipate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance service quality. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanorStrong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable guest experiencesA friendly personality paired with professionalism and a high standard of personal presentationDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative team player with a positive attitudeCreative problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectivelyProficiency in hotel management software, preferably Opera or similar POS systemsBasic computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quicklyFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of Brisbane City and surrounding areas to provide local recommendationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related degree is a plusOpen manual driver’s licensePrevious experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred Experience is an asset

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system

Fluency in English
