About this role

General Management:

▪ Alignment with stakeholders from Business in the Regions in order to integrate relevant processes into the regional or local processes.

▪ Advocate for the Regions to evaluate the centrally defined strategies, concepts & roadmaps

▪ Communicate demand (Location to CC and vice versa)

▪ Support the setup and development of the spective role in the local IT organization

▪ Track and report of local, regional and Tires divisional tasks

▪ Implement and monitor measures to ensure that IT meets defined standards and requirements.

Projects:

▪ Implement the initiatives/projects coming out of the central IT strategies in the regional IT and the locations

▪ Prepare and present project status of the region and location

Communication/Collaboration

▪ Facilitate networking and collaboration within and across the geographic regions to share knowledge, best practices, and foster synergies

▪ Facilitate neworking between central and local IT and also Business teams i.e. MTE, Digital Solutions, Keyuser organization

▪ Moderate escalations between local and central stakeholders

▪ Conduct knowledge management within the region. (onboarding, trainings, reg. meetings to exchange information in both directions ..)

ITSM Coordination

▪ act like a functional leader of IT Service Manager in the locations and coordinates all ITSM activities within Region

▪ consult local IT on ITSM topics and the maintenance of the Service Catalog

▪ Supports the implementation of the necessary standard ITSM processes to provide optimal support for business processes

▪ Accountable for the proper documentation in the locations

▪ Supports testing of ITSM products, training and onboarding

Regional IT Quality and Risk Coordinator

▪ Coordinatis of regular ITSM Assessments on Regional level▪ Supports in alignment with central IT Quality team the implementation and monitors quality assurance measures to ensure that Local IT meets defined standards and requirements

▪ Ensures the efficient utilization of the Internal Control System in local IT to monitor and improve quality management practices

Regional Project Governance Manager

▪ Supports local IT to initiate IT risk assessments for their services and advocates the local needs

▪ Leading the implementation and improvement of IT risk management plans and follow up of measures.

▪ Support the locations to utilize the Internal Control System to monitor and improve quality management practices

▪ Support audit activities

▪ Support GRC IT risk reporting process in the locations as part of the GRC reporting as needed

Regional Project Governance Manager

▪ local IT PM consulting and facilitating Business projects (i.e. Greenfield, Brownfield) including all necessary stakeholders

▪ Promoting, utilizing and improving the Conti Standard Project Management Methodologies and tools

▪ Lead IT projects or IT workstreams in Business projects or coach the local IT PM on request

▪ Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards through regular reviews of project results and KPIs

Regional IT Architecture coordinator

▪ act as a strategic bridge between global enterprise architecture standards and local business and technical requirements

▪ Architecture Planning: Develop and maintain a forward-looking IT architecture that aligns with global standards and regional/local business needs.

▪ Coordination & Alignment: Collaborate closely with regional/local IT teams, global architecture leads, and business stakeholders to ensure a consistent and scalable system landscape.

▪Technology Advisory: Provide guidance on technology selection and implementation and assess IT projects for architectural compliance.

▪ Governance & Standards: Ensure adherence to architectural principles, IT security policies, and compliance requirements.

▪ Documentation & Communication: Create technical documentation and communicate architectural strategies effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Operational

▪ Responsible for the Reports (SAP BO, Smart Reporting, PowerBI, ...) for the different roles

Education / CertificationDegree, Bachelor or Diploma in Information Technology or related field;

PMP or related certification is preferable

Professional Experience

(Variety of Functions, Variety of Business, General Management Experience)Minimum 5-10 years of IT or Industry working experience with at least 3 years in relevant IT field. Preferable in local IT.

Experience in support locations across the region

Project and/or Process

ExperienceVery good experience with the management and monitoring of multiple projects. Leadership ExperienceHas been in IT as a manager or team lead for some years.

Ability to perform in a functional leadership role with professionalism, courtesy and fairness

Intercultural / International

ExperienceHas experience in working in a multi-national company.

Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
