About this role
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Playwright, shell scripting.Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across UI, Database, Batch jobs and AWS resources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.Automate complex end-to-end workflows and continuously improve test coverage.Coordinate End-to-End testing across different product and domain teamsSupport CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.Contribute to and maintain testing documentation, standards, and best practicesParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and maintainability.Innovate and propose new approaches to enhance automation efficiency and effectiveness.Document the design, steps, and usage of automation workflows clearly. Provide user guides or runbooks for automated processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.Document and Track test artifacts inappropriate applications – Jira, source-code control (test automation scripts)Maintain tools used in test development, including source control, test management, and release systemsDevelop and maintain requirements traceability matricesCommunicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruptionPerform manual testing as requiredYou will report to a Senior Manager
BE/B.Tech in any relevant stream3+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on modern frameworks.Strong in programming with java or pythonStrong in scripting with Shell scripting and JavaScript/TypeScriptExperience Database queriesExperience with Linux environmentExperience in testing Backend, APIs and web-based UI applications.Experience in JMeter or any other performance testing tools.Solid understanding of AWS servicesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systemsMust familiar with agile methodologiesAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).Knowledge of containerization tools like DockerExposure to security testing and accessibility testing practices.Exposure any ETL toolAI/Generative AI: Knowledge of generative AI and LLMs.Hands-on experience using the OpenAI API (or similar AI/ML APIs) to build applications or prototypes.
