Role Overview:
The Junior Information Security Analyst will support the ECS Information Security team in maintaining documentation, improving reporting accuracy, and aligning ECS's security practices with Experian's global frameworks. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow within a dynamic, compliance- environment and contribute to the protection of consumer data and critical business operations.
You'll work closely with internal teams and the Experian Global Security Office (EGSO) to ensure ECS's security posture meets ISO 27001:2022 standards and other regulatory requirements.
Important Responsibilities:
Maintain and update security documentation repositories (e.g., Confluence)Enter, review, and maintain records across multiple tools to ensure reporting accuracyAssist in coordination with EGSO to align with strategic security goalsSupport risk assessments, audit preparations, and compliance activitiesParticipate in team meetings, track security-related tasks, and follow up on action itemsContinuously learn and apply security best practices to improve processes Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field1–2 years of experience in information security, IT operations, or a technical disciplineExperience with security principles and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)Familiarity with documentation tools like Confluence and JiraAbility to manage multiple priorities and a desire to grow in a global enterprise This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica.
