About this role

As a Cloud Engineer you will be working in a high-performance team of Cloud and Infrastructure support professionals. You will predominantly be responsible for the delivery of operational excellence in the support and management of our cloud infrastructure.

You will assist the Cloud Platform team to provide support for the entire business, customers and business partners as required. This role encompasses Cloud SaaS and PaaS, Servers, Containers, Vulnerability Management, and project group support.

Key Responsibilities

Perform administration & level 1/2 support of both Windows and Linux ServersPerform administration of Azure and AWS Cloud PlatformsRespond to and troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and implementing fixes or workarounds to restore service quickly.Responsible for Vulnerability Remediation of Windows and Linux Servers and Cloud Services (Azure and AWS)Maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring clear guidance for recurring tasks, fixes, and known issuesProvide support for upgrades and implementationsContribute to automation and process improvement, helping to streamline common support activities and reduce manual effort

Key Technical Skills

3 years working with and maintaining a mixed Windows and Linux server environment in a cloud environment.Knowledge of and experience working with Azure and AWS platformsPreferably tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline

Good Troubleshooting skills for network, server and cloud issuesGreat Customer serviceTeam player but also able to work soloAbility to learn new technologies and skillsAbility to create clear, concise and user-friendly technical documentationExperience with patch management tools including SCCM, AWS SSM, and Azure Update ManagerScripting proficiency in Bash and PowerShell for automation and maintenance tasksStrong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a focus on minimizing downtime What We Offer
