Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting employees with the usage of the Fitness Center while providing superior customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
• Checks employees and Tribal Members into the Fitness Center • Processes Fitness Center enrollments/cancellations • Assists members with exercise equipment and enforces company policies pertaining to the proper usage of the Fitness Center • Washes, folds and hands out towels • Maintains and ensures the cleanliness of the exercise areas and locker rooms
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists the Fitness Center Shift Manager with wellness and intramural sports programs • Sells beverages, movie tickets and miscellaneous event tickets to employees
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent • One year of general office experience • Previous customer service experience • Basic computer skills
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
• Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task • Knowledge of the various types of exercise equipment
Training Requirements:
• Personal Trainer Certification • CPR Certified
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Must be able to assist employees with the proper use of exercise equipment • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
