The Amazon Connectivity team designs connectivity software solutions for Amazon devices encompassing wide range of products including the Fire TV family of devices. This position is for a seasoned Sr Software Development Engineer in the Wi-Fi SW connectivity organization. You can be part of a fast-paced, agile and innovative team who is bringing new connectivity experiences to the exciting range of devices in a startup like environment. Key job responsibilities As a Sr Software Development Engineer - Connectivity, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-performance, low-power, stable connectivity platform for world class consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. In this role, you will: · Design, develop and enhance Wi-Fi software for Amazon's consumer products; · Optimize Wi-Fi performance and power consumption for connectivity platforms; · Engage with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions; · Collaborate with other software teams to design and deliver unique customer features on top of Wi-Fi for next-gen Amazon products; · Provide Amazon Customer Support technical assistance to trouble shoot customer issues; About the team Amazon products are revolutionary consumer devices that have become the #1 best-selling Amazon products.
