About this role

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Odours. Tasks: Inspect repaired vehicles. Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place. Repair or replace interior components. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Judgement. Reliability. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Do you have experience working in this field?.
