*Millwright - Job Description*
The Millwright will be responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to blueprints, company plans, and other diagrams. The Millwright will also be responsible for repairing malfunctioning equipment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Maintains a safe and clean working environment as well as ensure that all safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed * Performs preventive maintenance on all mechanical/electrical systems and equipment; this includes disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration; * Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments; * Communicates potential mechanical hazards on equipment to appropriate leadership and operators; * Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance; * Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests; * Supports continuous improvement initiatives for operations; * Performs other tasks and special assignments as requested by management
*Qualifications:*
* Holds an Industrial Millwright Mechanic licence with 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing food processing environment; * Knowledge of conveyors, pumps / compressor, electrical / electronic controls and high speed packaging equipment

Pay: $30.00-$44.00 per hour
