*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and maintenance processes. This role requires effective management of maintenance staff, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to enhance operational efficiency.
*Duties*
* Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance. * Develop and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks. * Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. * Maintain inventory of spare parts and track trends in ordering. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. * Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program. * Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. * Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills in mechanical, electrical, boilers, HVAC, and low voltage systems. * Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing setting. * 5-years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility. * Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical and electrical systems. * Proficiency in working with HVAC systems and low voltage applications. * Experience supervising teams, with demonstrated leadership capabilities. * Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. * Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. * A strong commitment to safety standards and practices within the workplace. Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
