This position is responsible for supervising security operations primarily across the <span>Tizates 1 & 2</span> and <span>San Juan de Abajo 1 & 2</span> sites, ensuring the protection of Bayer’s facilities, operations, assets, products, and personnel in the region.</p> <p>The role also supports the protection of contractors, carriers, and suppliers, with the objective of preventing and mitigating security risks, disruptions, and losses, while safeguarding site integrity and Bayer’s reputation.</p> <p>This position is accountable for all site-related security activities, including monitoring security guard performance during their shifts, reporting security incidents, and maintaining close coordination with the <span>Western Security Lead</span> and key site stakeholders.</p> <hr> <h2><span>Major Tasks</span></h2> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Represent Corporate Security NORLA in Nayarit and act as the main local security focal point.</li> <li>Supervise security operations across the <span>Tizates 1 & 2</span> and <span>San Juan de Abajo 1 & 2</span> sites.</li> <li>Oversee the protection of Bayer’s facilities, operations, assets, products, personnel, contractors, carriers, and suppliers.</li> <li>Prevent and mitigate security risks, operational disruptions, and losses.</li> <li>Safeguard site integrity and protect Bayer’s reputation.</li> <li>Monitor the activities and performance of security guards during their assigned shifts.</li> <li>Report directly to the <span>Western Security Lead</span> and key site stakeholders on security-related incidents and relevant developments.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><span>Key Responsibilities / What You’ll Do</span></h2> <h3><span>Site Security Operations</span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Coordinate and control access for Bayer personnel, contractors, carriers, and suppliers on a <span>24/7 basis</span>, using established procedures and documentation formats.</li> <li>Ensure the functionality and continuous operation of all security-related electronic systems, including: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li><span>CCTV</span></li> <li><span>Access Control Systems</span></li> <li><span>Intrusion Detection Systems</span></li> <li><span>Panic Buttons</span></li> <li><span>Transport and vehicle inspection controls</span></li> <li><span>Alcohol testing protocols</span></li> <li><span>HSE-related protection devices</span>, including fire protection systems</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h3><span>Incident Reporting & Response</span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Prepare shift reports and special incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.</li> <li>Communicate relevant security situations to the direct manager as soon as possible.</li> <li>Report security incidents to the <span>Security Lead</span> and work closely with the Security Services Chiefs to provide initial information for proper and timely registration.</li> <li>Provide support during the implementation of emergency procedures at the site, including coordination with: <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Industrial mutual aid groups</li> <li>Site personnel</li> <li>External authorities, when required</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h3><span>Investigations</span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Assist and/or conduct security and criminal investigations, including product crime cases.</li> <li>Support <span>Security & Criminal Investigations</span>, <span>HR</span>, and <span>Compliance</span> teams when required.</li> </ul> <h3><span>Security Framework & Compliance</span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Develop and maintain a consistent site security framework aligned with national security guidelines provided by the <span>Security Lead</span>.</li> <li>Ensure implementation, training, and awareness of security standards, procedures, and protocols.</li> <li>Promote compliance with applicable security legislation and regulations.</li> </ul> <h3><span>Training & Awareness</span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Foster engagement and collaboration on security matters across the site.</li> <li>Deliver regular and relevant security training with the support of the <span>West Security Lead</span>, the <span>Security Services Chiefs</span>, other internal security team members, and external security experts from government agencies, associations, or private organizations.</li> </ul> <h3><span>Supply Chain & Logistics Security</span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Support the <span>Supply Chain Security</span> and <span>Logistics</span> functions in the continuous monitoring and strengthening of security measures.</li> </ul>
