We are hiring a Spiritual Care Counselor for a Hospice position providing care to patients in their homes in the West Branch, MI area.
What You’ll Do:
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life • Conduct spiritual assessments to identify patient and family needs, helping develop care plans that support emotional, spiritual, and end-of-life goals • Provide spiritual counseling, emotional support, and guidance to patients and families of diverse backgrounds and beliefs, helping them navigate the end-of-life journey with comfort, dignity, and compassion • Address complex emotional and spiritual needs, advocate for patient wishes, and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation • Work independently but never alone • Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

Spiritual Care Counselor Qualifications
• Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree) preferred • Experience working with death and dying, individuals/family/caregiver • Hospice experience preferred • Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
