About this role
Responsibilities:
• Support and promote GCU’s Doctrinal Statement • Execute weekly event operations • Present on trained information to groups of guests • Provide positive and safe experience for guests • Follow the fleet driving schedule to ensure shuttles are on time • Communicate with Fleet dispatch and drivers when changes are needed • Additional Tasks as assigned
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
• MS Office Suite • Geotab • Zello • Sling
Qualifications:
• Experience with youth, preferably in a camp environment • Flexibility and enthusiasm a must • Excellent communication skills • Outgoing and comfortable speaking in front of various groups • Campus living and extracurricular activities within GCU strongly preferred to be able to provide first-hand experience to visitors • Open weekend availability is a must • Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (Flexible up to 20 hours) • Excellent organizational skills • Acceptable driving record and driver license
Experience/Education: Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student. • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University. You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage Expected End Date: June 30, 2027
