Department: Health & Welfare, Livability & Tourism Division: Office of Children, Youth & Family FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: PAY: $17.50 / hour Schedule: 20-Hours Per Week for 8 weeks (between the months of June - August 2026) Locations:

• Arthur Christopher Community Center - 265 Fishburne Street • St. Julian Devine Community Center- 1 Cooper Street • Shaw Community Center - 20 Mary Street *Applicant must be a high school student and least 16 years of age by hire date.*

This role will learn about municipal recreation operations and engaging the community in a variety of activities.

Examples of Duties:

• Works at an assigned recreation facility: • Helps with set up of chairs, tables, supplies and equipment in designated areas for scheduled day camp activities. • Under supervision, assists in arts and crafts, games, and other structured activities. • Provides support on camp on field trips and outings. • Assists with answering questions and communicating with parents. • Monitors children to ensure orderly conduct. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Available to work 20 hours per week for 8 weeks (between the months of June - August 2026) • Current high school student • At least 16 years of age by hire date
