How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. This position will be responsible for developing, improving and maintaining Quality documents and procedures related to the production of cooling towers and cooling tower parts. The incumbent will also be involved in the ISO documentation, audits, and procedures to maintain the ISO certification and compliance with our facility and products. The Quality Engineer will work closely with engineering to drive quality improvement through design of products and assembly manuals. This position will support Product Development to ensure quality on new products. In addition, this position will help to support commercial tours and customer inspections of the manufacturing plant. The incumbent will support the quality manager on new projects and be actively involved in external audits from customers and the external ISO Quality Management System Registrar. This position will be responsible for the Springfield plant calibration system and instrumental for performing internal audits and monitoring the internal audit program. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for evaluating production performance against key process indicators, as well as formulating corrective measures to ensure that identified issues are resolved to prevent reoccurrence.
