Position: Senior ServiceNow Developer
Job Description: Experience: 6–12 Years Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full Time Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Role Summary We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on experience in building, customizing, and integrating solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role requires deep technical expertise, end-to-end ownership of development, and the ability to work closely with architects and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
What you'll be doing:
• Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and other modules (SPM, ITOM, custom apps). • Build custom functionality using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Workflows. • Exposure to ServiceNow AI features (Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Now Assist) • Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server. • Ensure high-quality, scalable, secure, and performant implementations. • Conduct code reviews, reduce technical debt, and follow ServiceNow best practices. • Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis. • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. • Experience and involvement in ServiceNow upgrade activities
What we're looking for:
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. • Strong JavaScript skills (server-side & client-side scripting). • Solid experience with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request). • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs. • Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, security, and performance tuning. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Certifications
• Mandatory: ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow CAD • Preferred: CIS (ITSM/SPM), ITIL 4
Nice to Have
• Experience with CMDB/CSDM, Discovery, Domain Separation • Enterprise or large-scale implementation experience
