We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team at SIXT. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end invoice workflows for our vehicle maintenance and repair operations - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across our fleet. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
You collect, verify, and process invoices for vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies at every stepYou assign invoices to the appropriate cost centers and ensure correct financial coding to support accurate reporting and budget managementYou proactively identify and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders, driving issues to resolution efficientlyYou ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and support internal and external audits by maintaining thorough and well-organized documentationYou act as the key liaison between internal teams — including accounting, procurement, and fleet management — and external vendors to ensure a smooth and timely invoice processing cycleYOUR SKILLS MATTER
Experience Proven experience in invoice processing, accounts payable, or a billing coordination role — ideally within a fleet, automotive, or logistics environmentData Analysis & Reporting Strong analytical skills with the ability to review high volumes of invoices, identify discrepancies, and generate clear financial reportsAttention to Detail Exceptional accuracy in handling invoices, supporting documents, and financial records, with a consistent eye for errors and inconsistenciesCommunication & Stakeholder Management Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate effectively across internal teams and manage relationships with external vendorsOrganizational Skills Ability to manage multiple invoice workflows simultaneously, maintain accurate records, and consistently meet processing deadlinesLanguages Native French speaker with fluent English proficiency to collaborate with international teams and vendorsWHAT WE OFFER
