Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a motivated person to join the Catering department at University Hospitals Dorset, working within the Central Production kitchen
This is a very demanding job and requires a good level of physical fitness, flexibility, and good organisational skills.
You should be able to work with minimal supervision on your own initiative in this busy location.
Duties include, packaging and labelling our patients meals. In addition, some general cleaning is required and a possibility of helping within the production kitchen.
Due to some of the work being within the cold room, cold weather clothing will be provided including:Boots , socks, thermal garments, snoods and sweatshirts as required.
Please note: this role is part time - 21 hours per week working between Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am and 5pm. There is some flexibility in the hours worked and the start/finish times which can be discussed either at interview or informally beforehand.
