Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Solihull Early Intervention Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised person who would like to make a positive impact to the service and for better patient care. The main tasks include typing/formatting letters, taking telephone queries and dealing with patient service user's requests, diary management, scanning documents and save on the patient record system, booking appointments, monitoring and supporting with new referrals into the service in a timely manner. The post holder will also support reception duties during sick/annual leave
Main duties of the job
To provide admin support to the team secretary and the wider service with various administration responsibilities.
Provide an empathetic and sensitive point of contact for our service users/families, undertaking work directed by the Team Secretary and Support Service Manager's supervisory.
Demonstrate excellent organisational/communication skills, accurately record of telephone messages and other enquires and refer on efficiently as appropriate.
Arrange/organise patient appointments as required.
Input and update patient data on the patient record system in accordance to the trust policy.
Ability to make decision and take actions within the team relating to routine enquires, whilst receiving support/supervision.
To cover main reception duties during sick/absence leave when required
