About this role

Job summary

The Behaviour Analyst is responsible for managing a caseload of complex clients, delivering assessments and interventions that lead to positive changes for the individual, their families and wider network of support. This will require being flexible in approach, solution and values focused, with an ability to maintain resilience under pressure.

Main duties of the job

To be successful in this role, employees will:

Have a high degree of empathy & a strong value-base Communicate calmly and effectively in situations which may be emotionally or physically challenging Collaboratively engage a client and their network in the process of our support & identify quality of life goals Undertake functional behaviour assessments (FBA) and/or practical functional assessments to develop formulations for clients Write high-quality FBA reports & present findings to clients, their families/carers & network Plan interventions based on FBA report findings Apply Behaviour Analysis and PBS principles and technologies to develop effective, function-based interventions & behaviour support plans (BSP) Collect data and analyse progress towards identified goals. Train mediators in interventions outlined in the clients BSP Hold accountability for ensuring clients and mediators are aligned with the agreed intervention plan, devising solutions to any barrier Follow all policy and procedures in relation to safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management Maintain the highest standards of record keeping including electronic data entry and recording through professional self-governance in accordance with professional codes of practice, data security requirements and GDPR principles Hold up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies, and issues in relation to Behaviour Analysis & Positive Behaviour Support Have flexibility to travel according to business needs

Maintain the highest standards of record keeping including electronic data entry and recording through professional self-governance in accordance with professional codes of practice, data security requirements and GDPR principles. Hold up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies, and issues in relation to both the specific client group, Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support. Hold a clean &valid driving license and access to a car Have flexibility to travel according to business needs

Person Specification

Experience Essential

Experience Working with children, young people and,or adults with learning disabilities, autism, and,or mental health difficulties. Managing own caseload of clients with complex needs. Conducting FBAs and developing function based BSPs. Planning and implementing evidence-based programmes to achieve positive outcomes for clients. Developing, implementing, and overseeing data collection systems to monitor client progress towards their goals. Training others in behaviour support techniques. Report writing and sharing with key stakeholders, e.g., client, mediators, and network.

Qualifications Essential

Qualifications: Behaviour Analyst in good standing with the uk-sba cert.
